Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using MisdCon ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Description of Service

MisdCon is a location-based note app for missed connections. Users can drop anonymous notes pinned to a GPS location and timestamp. Other users who were physically nearby can discover these notes and, through a verification process, connect via private chat.

User Conduct

You agree to use MisdCon responsibly and in compliance with all applicable laws. The following content and behavior are strictly prohibited:

• Harassment, bullying, threats, or intimidation of any kind
• Hate speech, discrimination, or content targeting individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or other protected characteristics
• Sexually explicit or pornographic content
• Content depicting or promoting violence, self-harm, or illegal activities
• Spam, advertising, or commercial solicitation
• Impersonation of other individuals
• Sharing of personal information about others without their consent
• Content involving or targeting minors in any harmful way
• Any content that violates local, national, or international law

Zero Tolerance Policy

MisdCon maintains a zero tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive users. Content that violates these terms will be removed, and the user responsible will be permanently blocked from the platform. We review all reports within 24 hours.

Content Moderation

MisdCon employs automated content filtering and human review processes to identify and remove objectionable content. Users can report inappropriate notes, messages, or behavior directly within the app. All reports are reviewed by our team within 24 hours of submission.

Reporting and Blocking

Users can:

• Report any note they find objectionable via the note detail screen
• Report and block other users via the chat interface
• Block users to prevent all future contact

Blocked users cannot send notes to or interact with the blocking user.

Content Removal

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms at any time, without notice. Users may also delete their own notes at any time from within the app.

Account Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to MisdCon for any user who violates these Terms of Service. Termination may occur without prior notice for severe violations including but not limited to harassment, hate speech, or content involving minors.

Privacy

Your use of MisdCon is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Location data is processed entirely on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.

Age Requirement

MisdCon is intended for users aged 18 and older. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

Disclaimer

MisdCon is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of user-generated content or the identity of users. Exercise caution when interacting with other users.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of MisdCon after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
